Our home just outside Nacogdoches, Texas on thirteen acres complete with yagi, long wires, dipoles, and a Gap Titan vertical.

My other hobby is flying R/C. Here I am flying my "Battle Floyd" at a combat meet.

Crew Change Day!!!

YEE HAW! My favorite moment is leaving the ship after six long weeks. My wife took this picture from the car. What an elevator ride!

A BRIEF HAM BIO...  (Just in case you are really bored and have nothing better to do)

I was first licensed in 1976 (or close to it!) as WB5WZZ with the help of some great elmers Bill Reynolds and Bernie Ortschied (N5BJ).  I started out as novice and quickly moved on to general.  My first ticket expired in the 80's and I remained inactive until 1999.  That is when I re-tested for general and was assigned the call KD5ISS.  Shortly afterwards I went for the Extra class and applied for the vanity call NG5E.  I was looking for a good CW call because I enjoy contesting in that mode.  I work just about every mode but enjoy CW and PSK the most.
